This powerful antenna is made of 15 gauge solid copper and 1/2″ diameter U.S.-made fiberglass with a durable PVC shrink coating and chrome plated brass ferrule and top. Make sure you get the signal you need with its extreme bandwidth: CB 26-29 MHz, AM/FM 88-108 MHz, and Weather 162-166 MHz! You’ll easily be “tuned in” with its tunable tip and 3/8″-24 threaded stainless steel stud.

The longer your antenna, the better your CB system will perform. So we recommend using the longest antenna you possibly can! That being said, 3′ & 4′ antennas are the most popular choice of pickup truck and off-road vehicle owners while 5′ antennas are more often found on larger trucks and semis.
Here are approximate ranges for single installation fiberglass CB antennas:
- 2′ Long – 2 to 3 miles
- 3′ Long – 3 to 4 miles
- 4′ Long – 4 to 6 miles
- 5′ Long – 5 to 7 miles
